I can’t even begin to tell you how fortunate and excited I am to be going on this service trip to Tanzania with the students that have volunteered to go. They are some of the best individuals I could have hoped to work with! Our adventure will take us to Moshi Tanzania (close to Arusha which is where my father was born) where we will be volunteering our time at the Amani Children’s Home. I can’t wait for this because I know my students will have the opportunity to work on various projects including helping to teach English to the Amani kids, run activities, experience a day in the life at an IB school in another part of the world as well as several work projects. After that, we head on safari – cheetahs and lions…I’m keeping a close eye out for you
