How do you throw a party for your pet? Would you play games and have a pillow fight?

Well, you can party along in Laura Numeroff”s “If You give a Pig a Party”.  This story is about a little girl who meets a pig who wants a party.  The other books in the  ‘If You give…” series  include “If  You give a Pig a Pancake”, “If You take a Mouse to the Movies” and “If You take a Mouse to School”.  These stories end where they begin which is an unique way of telling a story.  Student sin Grades one and two students would like this picture book because the words are easy and the illustrations are colourful.                          Reviewed by SabinaS
