That's not exactly what I was saying...just because they might have a suggested meaning or idea in a song doesnt mean its their band's mantra or something. I was thinking way smaller scale anyways, like personal crisis instead of ones that might literally end the world. I dont think I actually mentioned 2012 in the post, but either way I can't say I agree with you - I think the warning signs are pretty clear with or without these "messengers" - the planet Earth is going to outlive the human race...we've created the trouble we're in now, and I dont think "god" is going to save us from that. Feel free to argue with me though.

Survival group against God?? LOL. Good luck with that. Truth is, no one knows the exact time this will happen except the man upstairs, however, I firmly believe that there are people placed here by God that post the warning signs and it's up to you to take heed.

Nice post. I agree with alot of what you've said, particularly about Buckethead's image. It's definitely evolving. I like to think of it as a constant thing that happens to all of us, as a person/artist evolves, so must their music and in Buckethead's case, his persona.

I really liked the KFC bucket too. Admittedly, it was one of the first things about him that I noticed when I first saw his music on YouTube. And I remember my first comment was something along the lines of 'WTF?' lol! But after listening to him, I was really blown away. I don't often take to music that way so quickly so I just knew that Buckethead was something special.

Thanks for writing such a great post!

And stay disembodied :D

Seconded. Absolutley. And the list goes on.
For sure! At the beginning I was thinking of only reviewing songs by A7X, but I wasnt sure how well my teacher would take to "scream".
Amazing song though.
But yeah, Betrayed is comming soon - There's alot of material to work with there.
If you have other ideas let me know!

Interesting...
I have some questoins about her proffesion but I think I'm just going to embarass myself by posting them here, so I'll ask you later.
But i looked her up and she was born in 64 - How long ago did the band name themselves?
Moniker?
Hahha yeah I saw that description too. Look at the home page for A7X - its funny, they're not trying to make themselves look good.

ARghhh how do you obtain all this information!?! Its so useful but I feel like an idiot for thinking I was an expert on my music...
Thats awesome.
Good question - thats the first thing I thought of when I heard of them. Well "on fire" could mean a lot of things...It could be literal (which I doubt) or maybe about an old bandmember or friend or something? Drug references maybe? I really have no idea.
